1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HookRay ("the Service"), operated by Shota Tanikawa, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
HookRay is a webhook testing platform that provides developer tools and APIs. The Service allows users to create webhook endpoints, inspect incoming HTTP requests in real time, search and filter request history, and replay webhooks for debugging purposes.
3. Account Registration
You may use certain features of the Service without creating an account. To access paid features (the Pro plan), you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Plans and Pricing
HookRay offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro plan at $9 per month or $90 per year. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. All prices are listed in US dollars (USD).
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service's endpoints, infrastructure, or other users' experience.
- Transmit malware, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature through the Service.
- Use the Service to relay, proxy, or store sensitive personal data (such as credit card numbers or health records) in webhook payloads beyond what is necessary for testing.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Service are owned by or licensed to HookRay. You retain ownership of any data you send to or through the Service. By using the Service, you grant HookRay a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HookRay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to HookRay in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
