1. Data We Collect
HookRay, operated by Shota Tanikawa, collects the following types of data:
- Account information: Email address and OAuth profile information (name, avatar) when you sign up.
- Webhook request data: HTTP headers, body content, query parameters, and metadata of requests sent to your HookRay endpoints.
- Usage analytics: Anonymous usage data such as page views and feature usage, collected through Vercel Analytics.
- Payment information: Billing details are processed directly by Stripe. HookRay does not store your credit card numbers.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain the Service, including delivering webhook data to your dashboard.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To improve the Service based on aggregated usage patterns.
- To communicate with you about your account or important service updates.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate HookRay:
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management.
- Vercel — Application hosting and deployment.
- Vercel Analytics — Privacy-friendly, anonymous usage analytics.
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the data they process on our behalf.
4. Data Retention
Webhook request data is retained according to your plan:
- Free plan: 7 days
- Pro plan (monthly): 30 days
- Pro plan (annual): 90 days
After the retention period, webhook data is automatically deleted. Account information is retained as long as your account is active.
5. We Do Not Sell Your Data
HookRay does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We only share data with the third-party services listed above, strictly to operate the Service.
6. Cookies
HookRay uses only essential cookies required for authentication, managed by Supabase Auth. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking technologies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Export your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@hookray.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
HookRay is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
